Affected Teachings
(1 John 3:18-19 KJV) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. {19} And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. The King James Bible teaches that true believers are of the truth the moment they become saved. The modern versions change that present tense word “we know” to a future tense “we shall or we will know” but never states when we would know, just leaving believers guessing as to what future time we would be of the truth. The King James Bible removes all guessing and states that Christians are in the truth at present and not some future undesignated time. Once again the King James Bible removes doubt.
