Affected Teaching
The personal Greek pronoun “moi” for “unto me” is used 22 times in the book of Revelation showing that John is the one being addressed. It is in the dative case which is the case of “personal interest.” In this instance it is the indirect object which is used to express to whom or for whom the action of the verb is done. In this case it is John being personally addressed to see the destruction of religious Babylon.
