- Affected Teaching
- (Rom 12:19 KJV) Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather
give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay,
saith the Lord. Revelation 19:2 states that God is
now taking vengeance on the kingdom of Satan for the shedding of blood of
His saints. God is specifically pointing out the fact that it was by the
hand of Satan’s kingdom that untold numbers of Christians were murdered and
now Judgment Day has arrived and He is taking vengeance on behalf of His
children. The modern versions leave out the important phrase “at her hand”
which specifies who was responsible for the martyrdom of many Christians. Of
course, Satan does not want this portion left in because it is His kingdom
which is going to face the fierce wrath of God and that is why he has his
theologians omit it from his versions.
