The Septuagint Greek Translation Of The Bible

The earliest extant Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible from the original Hebrew

There are many Christians who use the Septuagint as a reference when doing their Bible studies.  It is also believed that the Septuagint was written in the third century B.C. by a group of 72 Jews who took the Hebrew Scriptures and translated them into Greek.  However, the Jews saw the Gentiles as unclean and they would have never translated their Scriptures into the language of the Gentiles.  The following question remains to be answered.  Is the Septuagint a legitimate 3rd Century B.C. document or is it a document written by Origen at the Gnostic School in Alexandria Egypt?  This is a series of five Videos from David Daniels of Chick Publications concerning the verity of The Septuagint.
