Affected Teaching
The
modern versions remove the “personal pronoun Genitive case” “hemon” in the Greek
text. The modern versions replace
it with the article “the” in the English just stating that God is “the” Father.
The personal pronoun teaches that God is our Father, that is, the Father
of all the believers. The modern
versions remove that personal teaching and replace it with a generic teaching.
The modern versions remove that familial reality.
