Affected Teaching
In this verse we are taught that it was of
one blood that God created all the people of the world. There is a deeper reason
why God uses this term “blood” instead of just using the term “from one man” and
that is because blood has a much deeper meaning. Leviticus 17:11 (KJV) For
the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar
to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an
atonement for the soul. Just as the blood holds the life of the flesh and
makes atonement for the soul, as it states in Leviticus 17:11, it is the blood
of Christ which gives eternal life for all the believers. Romans 5:9-10
(KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from
wrath through him. {10} For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God
by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his
life. Just as the blood of man makes up all the nations of the world, the
blood of Christ makes up the one eternal nation which reaches throughout the
entire world. Matthew 21:43 (KJV) Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of
God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits
thereof. This eternal nation or kingdom was prophesied by Daniel the
prophet. Daniel 7:14 (KJV) And there was given him dominion, and glory, and
a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his
dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom
that which shall not be destroyed. The modern versions completely miss the
importance of the word “blood” in the text.
