MESSAGE) Every priest goes to work at the altar each day, offers the same old
sacrifices year in, year out, and never makes a dent in the sin problem. As a
priest, Christ made a single sacrifice for sins, and that was it! Then he sat

sacrifice by a perfect person to perfect some very imperfect people. By that
single offering, he did everything that needed to be done for everyone who takes
part in the purifying process.

Affected Teaching
“are
sanctified” is changed to “being made holy” or “being sanctified”
The
Bible teaches that upon salvation every believer becomes holy by means of their
position in Christ. The modern
versions make it sound like a person has to go through some process to become
holy. This is absolutely erroneous.
While “sanctified” and “holy” share a common word in the Greek, the
English words are different.
Sanctification is the progress a Christian makes in their Christian walk by
eschewing the world and becoming closer to Christ.
Holiness is something that happens instantly at salvation.
Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
The fact is that the modern versions are making salvation sound like something which is a process and that fits right in with Roman Catholic teachings. When God saves us we are sanctified and holy at that moment. There is no salvation procedure to attain holiness and sanctification because they are imputed to the believer because of Christ’s sacrifice and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. When we become saved we don’t get 10% of the Holy Spirit and then next year get another 10% and so on. We are blessed in fullness upon salvation. Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Ephesians 1:3 states that we are blessed with “ALL” spiritual blessings.
