Affected Teaching

”him” is changed to “the one”  The One is also used as a New Age term.  The term “the one” is used 126 times in 119 verses throughout the Bible and is never used in reference to God the Father or God the Son.

In the section above you will notice they all use the term “the one” which is not found in the Greek text.  The term “the one” is a New Age term which their followers use to describe “Maitreya” which is “the world teacher” who would unify the entire world.  These versions above are all set to receive their false Messiah. Here is a quote from the Encyclopedia of Mysticism and Mystery Religions Page 136:

“One: Term for the ultimate…in many mystical religions and philosophies.”

Below is a quote from Madame Blavatsky found in “Secret Doctrine, Volume 1, Page 40.”

The dismissal of “he,” “him”and “Son” for “The One” in New Age versions makes them copies of the Occult Catechism which reads:

“Question: What is it that ever is?

Answer: “The One is…the Father and the Mother”

“The root idea of the New Age is oneness, unity, and wholeness-the One for all.” From Unmasking the New Age Page 115 by Douglas Groothius
