- (John 6:37 KJV) All that the Father giveth
me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
We read in John 6:37 that all those whom the Father gives
to the Lord Christ for salvation will come to Him. In His High Priestly
prayer in chapter 17, the King James Bible reveals that the Lord Jesus
Christ is specifically praying for all the believers as evidenced in the
phrase in verse 11, “those whom thou has given me,” which harmonizes
perfectly with John 6:37 above. The modern versions remove that phrase and
replace it with “name“, thus taking away a great truth out of the Lord’s
prayer for His people.
