Affected Teaching
As soon as Peter stated that he was going fishing, others joined him and they
immediately got into the boat and fished. However, that night they caught
nothing which set the stage for another miracle by the Lord when He told them to
cast the nets on the right side of the boat. The word “immediately” is important
because it shows that there was no time span between Peter’s declaration and the
beginning of them going fishing. It shows they were out there all night and not
just a short time since they commenced fishing immediately.
