Affected Teaching
“believeth not” is changed to “obey not, rejects, disobeys”
Acts 16:31 (KJV) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt
be saved, and thy house.
The Apostle Paul states that a person must believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ to be saved and we see that in the first part of John 3:36 but the second
part turns it into a works gospel that one must obey the Lord Jesus Christ or
you will not be saved. Obedience is a
work and is one that is done by believers after they become saved, not before.
