Why I Am King James Only

By Ken Matto, D. Min.

(Psa 101:3 KJV) I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

I became a Christian in 1981 and immediately I purchased a Bible. Since I was brought up on the King James Bible I purchased a KJV Ryrie Study Bible. Then someone had suggested that I get the same Bible except in New American Standard (NASV) which I purchased. I remember asking the person who suggested it, “is there anything missing?” Why would I ask a question like that when I was saved for only a month or two? The reason became apparent 5 years later. From 1981-1986 I used the NASV and thought I was using a good version with just updated language.

In 1986 I was serving on the Corporation Board of America’s Keswick in Whiting, NJ. I was at the semi-annual meeting in March of that year and I heard a Senior Saint named Bill Geiger from Quarrysville, Pa making a statement “Hort and Westcott were a couple of Catholics.” I didn’t give it much thought at the time but in May of 1986 I went to a Christian Book Store and purchased a Chick tract entitled “The Attack.” It was about the making of the King James Bible and the corruption in the new versions. Of course, it was a capsulated summary because it was only a tract. However, it contained two verses which were corrupted in the NASV, they are Luke 2:33 and 1 John 5:7

Luke 2:33 (NASV) And His father and mother were amazed at the things which were being said about Him.

1 John 5:7 (NASV) For there are three that testify:

I then proceeded to compare these two verses to a King James Bible and here is what I saw:

(Luke 2:33 KJV) And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

(1 John 5:7 KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Did you notice the difference in the two versions? In the NASV, Luke 2:33 refers to Joseph as the father of Christ which would deny the Virgin birth. In the NASV, 1 John 5:7 removes the heavenly witness of Christ and the unity of the Trinity. These differences were enough to whet my appetite to delve further into this issue. At that time Dr. David Otis Fuller was still alive and I had much correspondence with him, in fact, I still have the letters he typed. He informed me of the massive corruptions in the NASV and the other modern versions. He gave me the names of some books which had the history of the corruptions and the verses which had been affected. I started doing comparisons and when I had sufficient information, I did a small seminar for the Bible study group at my church, detailing my findings on the corruptions.

Still, I had not gone back to the King James Bible yet. I purchased a New King James Version (NKJV) and desired to use it because I basically believed that it was only an update of language. However, I was wrong again as there were many corruptions in the NKJV. The NKJV casts doubt on 873 verses in the New Testament as they compare it to the Hort-Westcott text. The New Testament contains 7,957 verses which means the NKJV casts doubt on 11% of the New Testament. Hardly a Bible to build one’s faith. I finally purchased a King James Bible and have been using one since 1986 and have been blessed ever since.

Since 1986 I have been amassing much information and books on the King James Bible issue. It is very important that Christians have the most accurate and complete Bible. I have done many verse comparisons between the King James and some modern versions and have consistently found that not one of the modern versions is any better than the one before it. For example the Holman Christian Standard Bible of 2003 is no better than the English Standard Version of 2001 which is no better than the New Revised Standard Version of 1989 which is no better than the New King James Version of 1979 which is no better than the New International Version of 1973 which is no better than the New American Standard Version of 1959 which is no better than the Revised Standard Version of 1946 which is no better than the American Standard Version of 1901 which is no better than the Revised Version of 1881. (Eccl 1:9 KJV) The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Since I have become King James Only, I have heard many ridiculous accusations leveled against those who are King James Only by those who are Modern Version Only. I have heard things like we worship the King James Bible, it corrects the Greek, we are a cult, cults use the King James, we are King James nuts, King James was a homosexual, the King James translators did not have all the manuscripts we have today, they were not as educated as our scholars today, and probably many others which I cannot think of right now. What I want to do in this monograph is to give the reasons why I am a King James Only person.

Basically what King James Only (KJO) really means is that a Christian uses only the King James Bible for all applications which include preaching, teaching, studying, application to life, counseling, evangelism, literature ministry, etc. It has nothing whatsoever to do with worship of the King James Bible. When we continually use the King James Bible, we become very familiar with it, especially its language. The King James Translators intentionally used Elizabethan English to keep the Bible distinct from all the other books and literature which was available at the time. They saw the Bible as the Holy Word of God and not just another religious book as the modern Christian sees it. The modern Christian has treated the Bible as nothing but a mere common book to be changed whenever they want. This is attested to by the fact that since the 1881 Revised Version there have been 218 translations made from the Hort-Westcott Texts. For a copyright to be given, there must be sufficient change in the text to warrant it. This means that man has changed the word of God 218 times since 1881. Now I want to show you something.

I have a King James Bible that is dated 1855 and the one I presently use which is dated 2005 . I want us to look at Colossians 1:14:

1855 Published Date - In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
2005 Published Date - In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Do you see any difference? None at all but between these dates of 1855 to 2005, the modern versions have changed 233 times. Then we wonder why Christians are confused and cannot hold to stable doctrine. One more thing to consider on changes. The Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum-Graece has undergone 27 revisions between 1898 and 1979. The United Bible Society Text has undergone 4 revisions between 1966 and 1993. This means that the New Testament texts underlying the modern versions are constantly in a state of flux and is to this day. Unless the Lord returns soon, there will be more manuscript discoveries which means more translations. It is interesting that the more manuscripts which are found and inculcated into the modern versions, the more confusion exists around them, and I thought they were supposed to make things easier. I would now like to attend to the reasons I am King James Only person.

Muslim Accusation that the Bible is flawed
We live in a day when Islam is challenging the belief that the Bible is the Word of God. In a debate on Paltalk I heard an Islamic gentlemen read off a list of verses which are left out of the modern versions. The Muslims look at the modern versions as their reason for not accepting the Bible as God’s Word among other reasons. When they pick up a modern version and read that many verses are not in the Oldest and Best manuscripts (Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are the oldest and best of the modern version crowd). When you look for a reason to critique the Bible, you will find ample reason in the modern versions. From their standpoint, if the Bible is the word of God then how can man remove so many verses and truncate so many other verses and not come under the wrath of God? It is a valid question on their part. However, if the King James Bible was used to counter their argument instead of the modern versions, they would not have a leg to stand on. Let us take look at one verse which that man brought up, it was Matthew 18:11.

It is omitted in the following versions: New International Version, The Message, New Living Translation, English Standard Version, Contemporary English Version, Today’s New International Version, New Revised Standard Version, Revised Standard Version, New American Bible (Roman Catholic), New World Translation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Jerusalem Bible

It is bracketed in the following versions: New American Standard, Amplified Version, New Century Version, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

It is doubted by footnote in the following versions: New King James Version

This verse is omitted, bracketed, or doubted by footnotes in 16 versions which are still in use today. This means that someone can pick up one or all of these versions and see this verse attacked and can legitimately claim the Bible is not God’s word because there is too much tampering. Now let us see if the same scenario exists in the King James Bible concerning Matthew 18:11.

2005 King James Bible - For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
1855 Edition King James Bible - For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
1611 KJB - For the sonne of man is come to saue that which was lost.
1560 Geneva Bible - For the Sonne of man is come to saue that which was lost.
1537 Matthews Bible - and the son of man is come to save that which is lost.
1526 Tyndale - Ye and the sonne of man is come to saue that which is lost.

As you can plainly see, Matthew 18:11 is in every edition of the King James Bible from 1611 forward and also it is in its forerunners back to Tyndale. The verse is in every manuscript copy of the Received Text and the manuscripts which pre-date the Received Text goes all the way back to the originals from which they were copied without error. So no one can make a claim that this verse is not part of God’s word. The vast difference between the King James Bible and the modern versions is the fact of two different manuscript lines. One which is the forerunner of the King James Bible going back to Antioch and the counterfeit line going back to the Gnostic school at Alexandria, Egypt. When one picks up a modern version, they are picking up a bible with all the corruptions in the text and that is why so many verses are omitted and truncated. When one picks up a King James Bible, they are picking up the preserved word of God without corruption. They are copies of the originals which had never left the true believers and were protected and guarded by God through history till the time of the King James Bible in 1611. So if one uses a King James Bible against the onslaught of the Muslims who question God’s word, they will be stopped in their tracks and the only way they can continue their attack is to completely ignore the facts.

God Speaks in Specifics
Another reason I use the King James Bible is because God wrote in specifics and not assumptions. God does not expect us to assume things in the Bible simply because He knows our sinful natures would get in the way of truth. Some time ago I was discussing Matthew 8:29 with another brother who uses a New American Standard.

NASV - And they cried out, saying, "What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"

KJB - And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Did you see the difference? In the King James, Matthew 8:29 identifies exactly who the devils are addressing. They knew Jesus because they were up in Heaven with Him before Satan’s rebellion. Matthew 8:29 in the King James Bible is specific in who it is speaking about. In the NASV, you will notice the name of Jesus is omitted. This fellow told me that you know who the passage is speaking about by the context. For me to know exactly who is in view, the last mention of the specific name of Jesus in the NASV is Matthew 8:22. (Matthew 8:22 NASV) But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead." So for me to know specifically who is in view in verse 29, I have to go to verse 22. God did not write in assumptions, He wrote in specifics and the King James Bible manifests those specifics. I want to share with you one of the most blatant cases of assumption in the modern versions. It is 2 Samuel 21:19:

(2 Sam 21:19 KJV) And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite,
slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.

Here we read that Elhanan slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite. If you all remember correctly, David killed Goliath.

(1 Sam 17:50 KJV) So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

Now let us look at 1 Samuel 17:50 and 2 Samuel 21:19 in the modern versions:

(NASV) 1 Samuel 17:50 - Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David's hand.

(NASV) 2 Samuel 21:19 - There was war with the Philistines again at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.

(NIV) 1 Samuel 17:50 - So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

(NIV) 2 Samuel 21:19 - In another battle with the Philistines at Gob, Elhanan son of Jaare-Oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver's rod.

(ESV) 1 Samuel 17:50 - So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. There was no sword in the hand of David.

(ESV) 2 Samuel 21:19 - And there was again war with the Philistines at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, the Bethlehemite, struck down Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.

(NWT-Jehovah’s Witness) 1 Samuel 17:50 - So David, with a sling and a stone, proved stronger than the Phi·lis´tine and struck the Phi·lis´tine down and put him to death; and there was no sword in David’s hand.

(NWT-Jehovah’s Witness) 2 Samuel 21:19 - And war arose once again with the Phi·lis´tines at Gob, and El·ha´nan the son of Ja´a·re-or´e·gim the Beth´le·hem·ite got to strike down Go·li´ath the Git´tite, the shaft of whose spear was like the beam of loom workers.

Here we have three of the most widely used modern versions in total agreement with the Jehovah’s Witness version that Elhanan killed Goliath. Now we have to assume that 1 Samuel 17:50 is correct when it states that David killed Goliath because here in these 4 versions it states someone else killed Goliath. Let us look at how this problem is dealt with in the King James Bible.

(2 Sam 21:19 KJV) And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.

The King James Bible adds three words and places them in italics so we know they are not part of the Hebrew manuscripts but are there to clarify the passage. These three words state specifically that it was the brother of Goliath that was killed and not Goliath. We now have perfect harmony between 1 Samuel 17:50 and 2 Samuel 21:19 instead of total contradiction. Still think your modern version is superior?

(2 Sam 21:19 KJV) And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.

(1 Sam 17:50 KJV) So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

No Revisions
One of the selling points of the New King James Version is that they state in their opening comments of their book that it is the fifth revision of the King James Bible. This is nothing but an outright lie. There have been no revisions of the King James Bible. What has been done in 1629, 1638, 1762, and 1769 have been spelling corrections, printing corrections, and some textual corrections. When the King James Bible was first printed in 1611, the printing technique had not improved since the invention of the printing press in 1450. Everything had to be done by hand which means human error did creep into the printing and many of these spelling errors were fixed in 1629 and 1638. Then the printing font changed because the 1611 King James Version used Gothic type and was subsequently changed to Roman style which made it easier to read. Then there were textual corrections because some words had been left out and needed to be placed back in. Some examples are below:

(2 Sam 16:12 KJV) It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day. - Changed in 1629 from “requite good”

(Mat 6:3 KJV) But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: - Changed in 1613 from “thy right doeth”

(2 Cor 11:32 KJV) In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me: - Changed in 1629 from “the city”

(Deu 4:25 KJV) When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger: - Changed in 1762 from “shalt have remained”

(Psa 69:32 KJV) The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. - Changed in 1617 from “seek good” - A very important doctrinal teaching.

These are only 5 examples of the approximately 400 changes which have been made in 397 years. As you can see there has been no textual changes in the King James Bible which are similar to those found in the modern versions. Those who claim there have been revisions of the King James Bible are either ignorant or following the lies of the textual critics.

Modern Versions have Weakened the Churches
Dr. James White states, “The King James Version Only Controversy is, in reality, a non-issue when compared with the serious challenges that face the Christian church today.” - From his website article entitled New Age Bible Versions Refuted

The serious challenges the church faces today is due to the influx of counterfeit Bible versions. MVO proponents like Dr. White are blinded to this reality. Isn’t it something that since the introduction of the 1901 American Standard Version into the American Churches, the churches have become weak and confused. No longer is there any doctrinal absolutes taught in churches, instead it is a feeling based Christianity with the version of your choice. Since the ASV of 1901 there have been 214 different versions printed. The question I have is how many Bibles did God write? Just as we saw the public schools degenerate after prayer was removed in 1962, we saw the church degenerate after the real word of God was excommunicated and replaced with the false versions.

When God’s word was thrown out of the churches, His hedge of protection was removed from them. If you go back to the time when the King James Bible was the Bible of all the churches, you will see a strong church which also had pull with the political leaders. The Gospel was preached and “thus saith the Lord” was thundered from the pulpits. Now with all the counterfeit versions in the churches, what type of Gospel is now being proclaimed? Since the word of God has been removed we see sociology, psychology, compromise, feeling based Christianity, paraphrased versions, Christian fiction, story telling, theistic evolution, and other such ungodly teachings trying to fill the void of having an absence of God’s word. (Amos 8:11 KJV) Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: Amos 8:11 is right on target because with the modern versions you are not hearing the word of God. There is a famine in the church for true teaching from the true Bible. When the pastor is preaching from the pulpit with his favorite version and the people in the congregation are using ten different versions, no growth is happening because no understanding is taking place. Everyone is trying to match what is being said from the pulpit to their version. Just look at the typical congregation and you will find adultery, fornication, sodomy and so many other sins permeating the congregation simply because they are not being warned about their sins.

(Rev 2:5 KJV) Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. This is why so many churches have become unspiritual social clubs and have had their candlestick removed from Christ’s true churches which are left in the world. You would think that the way the modern version proponents talk that with all the bible versions available, the church would be a mighty fortress but unfortunately it is just the opposite. The more a church uses the modern versions, the weaker they get. When the King James Bible was in all the churches, did you ever hear of anything such as a sodomite being ordained? These things only happened since the modern versions invaded the churches and softened the stand on all sin. The modern versions have done nothing to improve any church, it is the death knell for any congregation to remove the King James Bible and place a modern version there. Rick Warren in his book “Purpose Driven Church” used 15 different versions so he could use them to endorse his book and those churches who have gone “purpose driven” are all dead. What an endorsement of the modern versions.

Christians are totally Confused
If there is one general characteristic of Christianity today, it is confusion. With almost every Christian using a different bible version there is a lack of stability. The old saying goes, “If a man has one watch he can give you the time but if he has two, he can never be sure.” Christians who use multiple versions for personal study will wind up more confused. With each version saying something different, how can you build a rock foundation for your studies and how are you able to understand? When you use the King James Bible for study and all other applications in life, you will be building on a rock foundation because there will be no differing texts to try and amalgamate. The King James will give you understanding in a flow of continuity throughout the whole Bible.

No Footnotes
Footnotes are one of the most confusing aspects of the modern versions. The modern version editors remove verses from the text and place it in the footnotes. The readers do not know whether to treat the footnotes as Scripture or man’s words. I want to give you some examples of the serious nature of the footnotes. Christians who use multiple modern versions of the bible will only engender confusion in their own life via the footnotes.

Contrasting Footnotes
(NKJV) Luke 9:54 And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”

Footnote: Luke 9:54 NU-Text omits just as Elijah did.

(ESV) Luke 9:54 - And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, "Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?"

Footnote: Luke 9:54 Some manuscripts add as Elijah did

So if I was using the ESV and the NKJV for a study of this verse, I would be in a quandary. According to one version it should be omitted but according to the other version it should be added. So do I add it or do I omit it? (1 Cor 14:33 KJV) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Footnote of Derision
Let us take a look at John 9:38 in the KJB and the 1901 ASV. If you will notice both are the same but look at the footnote in the 1901 ASV. I have a copy of this Bible in my library.  It is a Unitarian version.

(John 9:38 KJV) And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

(John 9:38 ASV 1901) And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped* him.

*Footnote of ASV 1901 on John 9:38
“The Greek word denotes an act of reverence, whether paid to a creature (as here) or to the Creator.”
Did you see how the 1901 ASV considers the Lord Jesus Christ a created being? If I was using the 1901 ASV as my sole Bible, then I too would adopt the same Gnostic teaching that Christ was a created being. This footnote is a devastating attack upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 8:37
In the NIV, this verse is relocated to the footnotes but no reason is given as to why it is removed from the text.
The NASV footnotes it. Acts 8:37 Early mss do not contain this verse
The HCSB footnotes it: Acts 8:37 Other mss omit bracketed text

Here are the four primary manuscripts where it is omitted:
Aleph 01 - Sinaiticus - Fourth century
A 02 - Alexandrinus - Fifth century
B 03 - Vaticanus - Fourth century
C 04 - Ephraemi Rescriptus - Fifth century

So as you can see the manuscripts which the modern editor relies on are the four main corrupted manuscripts which underlie all the modern versions. There are no footnotes in the King James Bible because the KJB translators knew they were translating the Word of God and not just a set of the most recent archaeological finds which are changed with every new manuscript discovery.

Purer Manuscripts behind the King James Bible
The two main manuscripts which underlie all the modern versions have been corrupted repeatedly. Let us look at the characteristics of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus, which are the darlings of the modern bible editor.

The Vaticanus Manuscript (B)
The word “Vatican” in Latin means “Hill of Divination.”
(Deu 18:10 KJV) There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, The Vaticanus manuscript was found in the Vatican library in 1481. It was rejected by the King James Translators because it was very corrupt and unreliable. The following portions of Scripture are missing from the Vaticanus: Genesis 1:1-46; 28; Psalms 106-138; Matthew 16:2-3; Mark 16:9-20; The Pastoral Epistles (1 & 2 Timothy and Titus); Hebrews 9:14-13:25 and all of the book of Revelation. These were intentional omissions because the manuscript was found in excellent condition with no pieces missing. In the Gospels it leaves out 237 words, 452 clauses, and 748 whole sentences. These omissions were intentional since there was room left on pages to write these in. The Vaticanus manuscript was written on expensive Vellum and was in good condition when found which means that the missing areas were not due to missing sections but intentional omission.

The Sinaiticus Manuscript (
a) Aleph
The major characteristic of this manuscript is that it is a literary mess. There are mistakes, erasures, sentences written on top of other sentences plus many words are omitted. It contains nearly all the New Testament, the Apocryphal Books plus two other false books, “The Shepherd of Hermes” and “The Epistle of Barnabas.” Every page contains corrections and revisions by at least ten different people. Corrections on the manuscript were made as late as the sixth or seventh century A.D. With so many revisions and corrections done to this manuscript, it made it totally worthless. It was found in a garbage can in St. Catherine’s Monastery in 1844 by Constantine Tischendorf. The manuscript was so bad, the monks were going to burn the manuscript just for heat. It too omits Mark 16:9-20.  Dr. Scott McKendrick, Head of Western Heritage Collections, in the British Museum did a close analysis and found 35,000 variations in this manuscript.

“On many occasions 10, 20, 30, 40 words are dropped through very carelessness. Letters and words, even whole sentences, are frequently written twice over, or begun and immediately cancelled; while that gross blunder, whereby a clause is omitted because it happens to end in the same words as the clause preceding, occurs no less than 115 times in the New Testament.” --- Dean Burgon

Textual Variations between Vaticanus and Sinaiticus
There are 3036 textual differences in the Gospels alone.  656 in Matthew - 567 in Mark - 791 in Luke - 1022 in John.   With these amounts of disagreements in the Gospels alone, how can these manuscripts ever be trusted for accuracy, yet all your modern versions rely heavily on these two manuscripts.

The manuscripts behind the King James Bible were already in a purified state when it came time to translate. The person behind the beginning of the manuscript series leading up to the King James was Desiderius Erasmus who was a brilliant Greek scholar whom God used to begin the process of final purification of the manuscripts which would come to be known as the Textus Receptus in 1633, 22 years after the publication of the King James Bible. Erasmus was a critic of the Latin Vulgate of Jerome which was based solely upon the Vaticanus manuscript. Erasmus knew that Jerome used that manuscript and how unreliable it was and therefore he rejected it. As early as 1505 he published a Latin New Testament which was in the lineage of the Old Latin Vulgate (90-150 A.D.) and not Jerome’s corrupt Latin Vulgate, from which he stole the name. One of the manuscripts which Erasmus used was the Byzantine text which came into usage about 400 A.D. to about 1450 A.D. Erasmus began to collate the texts and published his first edition in 1516 with his Latin translation alongside. He then revised his 1516 edition in 1519 printing a second edition. He then printed a third edition in 1522. He then printed his fourth edition in 1527 and his fifth and final edition in 1535.

After the death of Erasmus, another scholar named Robert Stephanus continued the purification of the text of Erasmus. He printed his first edition in 1546. He printed his second edition in 1549. He printed his third edition in 1550. He printed his fourth edition in 1551.
After the editions of Stephanus, the purifications of the text continued. Theodore Beza printed 10 editions of the Greek. He printed them in 1565, 1582, 1588, 1598. The fifth to the tenth printings were smaller reprints of the first four editions. It was the 1550 and 1551 edition of the Stephanus text and the 1598 Beza text which became the primary texts for the King James Version. None of these texts were corrupted in transmission because God promised to keep and preserve His Word. The Lord Jesus stated that not one jot or tittle would pass from the law till all be fulfilled and that is right up to the book of Revelation. If you compare the pure texts underlying the King James to the corrupted Vaticanus and Sinaiticus, you will instantly know why so many verses and phrases are omitted or chopped up. God preserved His word through the middle ages with the Byzantine text and the Waldensian Bible, for which they were persecuted by Rome.

No Roman Catholic Connection
The King James Bible is totally free of any Roman Catholic intrusion. The Vaticanus was found in the Vatican Library in 1481 and the Sinaiticus was found in a garbage can in St. Catherine’s Monastery in 1844. St. Catherine’s is the monastery where they have skulls piled high in a room and even have a skeleton of a dead monk hanging on a door. Would God really consign His word to such an evil, macabre place? Then the texts underlying the modern versions which are the United Bible Society and the Nestle Aland Novum Testamentum-Graece had a man on the editorial committees named Carlo Montini, who was a Jesuit Cardinal. Another man named Alberto Ablondi, who was the Bishop of Livorno, Italy was a member of the General Committee and European Regional Executive Committee of the United Bible Society. His own view of “interconfessional translation” projects is that they are “one of the important advancements of post-Vatican II ecumenism - an important step toward unity.” (Word/Event No. 57/1984 P.6) A former UBS Vice-President was Dr. Francis Arinze, who was not only a Roman Catholic Bishop but has been made a Cardinal by the Pope.

The modern versions are wreaking with Roman Catholic influence as the modern versions follow the corrupted Latin Vulgate of Jerome. Not one of the King James Translators were Roman Catholic and not one manuscript used had any Roman Catholic corruptions. The King James Bible is the preserved word of God and did not suffer any textual corruption as God preserved it as he said He would.

Below is a quote from the introduction to the 27th Edition of the Nestle-Aland Greek Text giving additional proof that the modern versions are Roman Catholic.

“In 1955 K. Aland was invited to participate in an editorial committee with M. Black, B. M. Metzger, A. Wikgren, and at first A. Vö ö bus, later C.M. Martini (and from 1982 B. Aland, and J. Karavidopoulos) to produce The Greek New Testament, an edition of the Greek text with a critical apparatus of selected passages designed for the use of professional Bible translators throughout the world (1st. ed. 1966, 2nd ed. 1968). Work on both editions continued for some while in parallel. The intensive cooperation of the committee through the years proved so fruitful and stimulating to the participants that K. Aland decided to contribute his preliminary work toward a new text of Novum Testamentum Graece to the preparation of the Greek New Testament. The texts of both editions then proceeded to grow together so that eventually the 26th edition of Novum Testamentum Graece (1979) and the third edition of The Greek New Testament (1975) shared the same basic text.

These two editions were originally planned for different purposes, and they differ accordingly. The Greek New Testament was designed for translators, and while its critical apparatus is restricted to selected passages, the information on the textual tradition in these passages is as complete as possible. These passages are most often those in which modern versions are found to differ, and translators need to be aware of the reasons for their differences. Novum Testamentum Graece, in contrast, seeks to provide the reader with a critical appreciation of the whole textual tradition. Its apparatus is correspondingly more extensive, devoting particular attention to the transmission of the text in the early period. For this purpose, however, exhaustive detail is neither nor would it be useful (cf. below pp. 50*-51*).

The text shared by these two editions was adopted internationally by Bible Societies, and following an agreement between the Vatican and the United Bible Societies it has served as the basis for new translations and for revisions made under their supervision. (Emphasis mine) This marks a significant step with regard to interconfessional relationships. It should naturally be understood that this text is a working text (in the sense of the century long Nestle Tradition): it is not to be considered as definitive, but as a stimulus to further efforts toward defining and verifying the text of the New Testament. For many reasons, however, the present edition has not been deemed an appropriate occasion for introducing textual changes.”

The King James Has no Occultic Connections
One of the saddest facts behind the modern versions is the fact that Hort and Westcott were occultists. They have been called the fathers of the modern channeling movement. They both were also very strong proponents of evolution.

Hort and Westcott, along with Bishop Edward White Benson, had formed something called the Ghostly Guild which was designed to investigate ghosts and supernatural apparitions. They believed that the spirits actually appeared to people. There were many members of the Ghostly Guild who experienced these ghosts according to The Encyclopedia of Occultism and Parapsychology. This club eventually became known as the Society for Psychical Research and according to James Webb in the Occult Underground and W. H. Solter in, “S.P.R. - An Outline of It’s History” stated that this club became the catalyst in the rise of spiritualism among the elite in the late 1800’s. Sometime later Hort and Westcott had left the society but Westcott’s son refers to his father’s life long faith in spiritualism. According to Westcott’s son, Arthur, Dr. Westcott practiced the Communion of the Saints. This was a belief that you can fellowship with the spirits of those who died recently.

In 1872 Westcott formed the Eranus Club. Some of the Members included Hort, Sidgwick, Arthur Balfour (future prime minister of England), Archbishop Trench and Dean Alford. Both Trench and Alford would be involved in Bible revision work. Balfour had become famous for his séances’ and practice of spiritualism. The Eranus Club would eventually become known as an occult secret society. It is interesting to know that Westcott would start another occultic society when he was in the middle of translating the Revised Version (1870-1881). So their occultic practices were taking place during the translation of their counterfeit version. Can any Christian who has the ability to think really believe a thrice Holy God would hand His word over to those who practiced the occult? Here is God’s view of those in the occult. (Isa 47:13-14 KJV) Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. {14} Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

The King James Translators were all Godly men and were all saved. There was not an occultist among them plus they were highly educated in the Greek and Hebrew languages. Here are just three of the KJV translators and their qualifications:

Bishop Lancelot Andrews - Proficient in 20 languages including Greek Hebrew, Chaldee and Syriac and conversant in 15 of those languages

William John Bois - His father taught him Hebrew at age 5 and by time he was 6, he could write it. At the age of fifteen, he was a student at St. John’s college, Cambridge. (At 5 years old, I was playing with Lincoln Logs and Lionel trains.)

Dr. Miles Smith - He had a knowledge of Greek and Latin fathers and an expert in Chaldee, Syriac, Arabic, and Hebrew.

The King James has no Nazi Connections
“In the present translation the latest edition of Rudolph Kittel’s Biblia Hebraica has been employed” - The New American Standard Bible, Anaheim, California: Foundation Publications, Inc., 1997, p. iv.

The ESV is based on the Masoretic text of the Hebrew Bible as found in Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (2nd ed., 1983), and on the Greek text in the 1993 editions of the Greek New Testament (4th corrected ed.), published by the United Bible Societies (UBS), and Novum Testamentum Graece (27th ed.), edited by Nestle and Aland. < From the ESV official Website

New International Version - Translators Preface - “For the Old Testament the standard Hebrew Text, the Masoretic Text as published in the latest editions of Biblia Hebraica, was used throughout.” “The translators also consulted the more important early versions-the Septuagint; Aquila, Symmachus and Theodotion; the Vulgate; The Syriac Peshitta; the Targums; and for the Psalms the Juxta Hebraica of Jerome. Readings from these versions were occasionally followed where the Masoretic Text seemed doubtful and where accepted principles of textual criticism showed that one or more of these textual witnesses appeared to provide the correct reading."

Holman Christian Standard Bible 2004 - Old Testament uses 5th Edition of the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia with some Septuagint influence.

If you will notice the four modern versions above (representative of all of them) they all use Rudoplh Kittel’s Biblia Hebraica for the Old Testament. The King James uses the 1524-25 Bomberg edition of the Masoretic Text known as the Ben Chayyim text. There were two editions of Biblia Hebraica in 1906 and 1913. In the third edition, changes took place, 20,000 to be exact from the Ben Chayyim text, when the editors incorporated the readings of the Leningrad Codex (circa 1008 A.D. and believed to be written in Egypt) in his 1937 edition (completed by Albrecht Alt and Otto Esselte - Stuttgart, 1937), and it is also used in the 1977 edition of the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia. Their text was the Ben Asher text which they exchanged from the Ben Chayyim text and it contained the readings of a few minor Hebrew manuscripts.

Between 1933 and 1944 Gerhard Kittel had a leadership role in the "Forschungsabteilung Judenfrage" which was a Nazi organization and publication.

“Kittel is…even darker and more menacing…than Goerring or Goebbels…the grim distinction of making extermination of the Jews theologically acceptable.” -  William Forwell Albright, History, Archaeology, and Christian Humanism (New York, 1964, pp. 229-230

“The potential for trouble suddenly became concrete in 1933. Ego involvement…must have played a role in Kittel’s career after 1933. After 1933 Kittel’s work changed in tone. Before 1933 Kittle defended Judaism, afterward he attacked it. Kittle produced a body of work between 1933 and 1944 filled with hatred and slander toward Jews…The bulk of Kittel’s research between 1933 and 1945 was devoted to rigorous and harsh anti-Jewish stance…It corresponded to the worst of Nazi propaganda. - Robert Erickson, Theologians Under Hitler (New Haven: Yale University Press, 1985, pp 54, 61, 74, 75

Gerhard Kittel has produced such works as the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament. He began this work in 1933 with other Nazis. (Gerhard Kittel was the main Translator for the Hebrew that underlies the RSV, NASV, CEV, TEV, NKJV and the NIV).

In summary, between Rudolph and Gerhard Kittel, the Old Testament in the modern versions have been severely tampered with and can no longer be counted upon for accuracy. The Ben Asher text is a very faulty text plus who would want to trust any type of biblical manuscript which had been corrupted in Nazi Germany. Does one actually think that God would have trusted the Hebrew Scriptures to a father and son who were unbelievers in a Nazi time period?

Continuity and Progression
With the KJV there is also continuity, you do not sit in a Bible study asking what does yours say? What does yours say? Have you ever been in a bible study with multiple versions present? You never get passed “What does your say?” This is how Satan hinders the believer in their growth. If you come to a verse like Romans 16:24:

(KJV) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
It is omitted in the NIV, NLT, ESV, NCV, RSV, THE MESSAGE
(NASV) [The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.]
(AMP) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you all. Amen (so be it).
(CEV) Omitted - Replaces verse 24 with 23
(HCSB) [The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.]

As you can plainly see that it is in the King James Version but missing in six versions. In the NASV and HCSB it is bracketed. In the CEV it is omitted but replaced with verse 23. In the Amplified Version it is in italics. When you look at this potpourri of translations, you can gain an understanding of the confusion that all these modern versions can engender. One will ask why it is omitted in their version and another will ask why it is in brackets and what are “the oldest and best manuscripts?” By the way Romans 16:24 is omitted in the NAB-Roman Catholic and NWT-Jehovah’s Witness. This means the NIV, NLT, ESV, NCV, RSV, and THE MESSAGE are as accurate as the Jehovah’s Witness and Roman Catholic Versions or are they as corrupt as the Jehovah’s Witness and Roman Catholic Versions?

While Christians stagnate always trying to find a new version that fits them, they do not realize they have been hindered in their spiritual growth. Those of us who use the King James Bible do not stagnate because it promotes progression in the Bible study thus promoting growth. “But” you say what if everyone in the study used the same modern version such as the New King James Version? Then wouldn’t there be continuity and spiritual growth? The answer is no! Why you say? Because the NKJV questions the veracity of 873 verses in the footnotes in the New Testament? Do you not think that someone will eventually begin a discussion on it? Do you think Satan will let a Bible study go on without it being brought to light? Get a King James Bible and you will see no translators notes questioning the veracity of God’s word, and again, that is because they knew they were translating God’s word and not just a bunch of archaeological finds.

The King James is The Preserved Word of God
I have previously touched on this subject concerning the Muslims who attempt to berate the word of God by claiming it has been tampered with. They are correct to a certain extent. If they only look at the modern versions and their lineage, they can rightly claim that the Bible has been tampered with. If they look at the true Bible, the King James and its forerunners they have not a leg to stand on. Christians who attempt to debate Muslims with a modern version have already lost the fight before they get into the ring. What I want to show in this section is how God preserved His Word in the lineage of the King James Bible. For us to see if the King James Bible is the preserved word of God, we must check verses which were used in antiquity against today’s King James Bible. Before we do that, I want to clarify two terms which always seem to become intertwined and confused, they are inspiration and preservation. Inspiration is when the authors penned the Holy Scriptures in the original writings under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Preservation is when those very words were copied and recopied for future generations. English translations are not inspired in the same way the original manuscripts were. What we have in the King James Bible today is the preserved Word of God and we will see how well preserved it is in the following examples.

2 Timothy 4:7
(Today’s King James Bible) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
(1611 KJV) I haue fought a good fight, I haue finished my course, I haue kept the faith.
(1568 Bishop’s Bible) I haue fought a good fyght, I haue fulfylled my course, I haue kept ye faith.
(Geneva 1560) I haue fought a good fight, and haue finished my course: I haue kept the faith.
1549 Matthews) I have fought a good fight, and have fulfilled my course, and have kept the faith.
(1540 Great Bible) I haue fought a good fyght, I haue fullylled my course, I haue kept the fayth
(1535 Coverdale) I haue fought a good fighte, I haue fullylled my course, I haue kepte the faith
(1526 Tyndale) I have fought a good fight and have fulfilled my course and have kept the fayth.

Do you see the continuity in the transmission of 2 Timothy 4:7 from 1526 to 2008. That means in 482 years there has been no variations in this verse simply because it is the preserved Word of God. In fact, Let us go back even further into history to show the preservation of God’s Word is in the King James and not the modern counterfeit versions.

Romans 16:24
2008 KJV - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Pre-350 A.D. Gothic - ansts fraujins unsaris lesuis Xristaus mjb ahmin izwaramma. Amen.

(NIV) Omitted
(NASV) [The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.]
(THE MESSAGE) Omitted
(AMP) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you all. Amen (so be it).
(NLT) Omitted
(ESV) Omitted
(CEV) Omitted - Replaces verse 24 with 23
(HCSB) [The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.]
(NCV) Omitted
(RSV) Omitted
(NAB-Roman Catholic) Omitted
(NWT-Jehovah’s Witness) Omitted

Notice this verse was in the pre-350 A.D. Gothic version of the Bible but is omitted or bracketed in the modern versions. Once again we are plainly shown that the true Word of God has been preserved in the King James Bible. 2008-350 = 1658 years of preservation.

Galatians 4:7
2008 KJV - Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Pre-350 A.D Gothic - arbja gubs bairh Xristu

(NIV) So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
(NASB) Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
(ESV) So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
(CEV) You are no longer slaves. You are God's children, and you will be given what he has promised.
(1901 ASV) So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
(HCSB) So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
(RSV) So through God you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son then an heir.
(NRSV) So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God.
(NAB-Roman Catholic) So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God.
(Douay-Rheims Roman Catholic) Therefore now he is not a servant, but a son. And if a son, an heir also through God.
(NWT-Jehovah’s Witnesses) So, then, you are no longer a slave but a son; and if a son, also an heir through God.

Once again we see 1658 years of Bible preservation in the King James Bible in Galatians 4:7 which is truncated in the modern versions. After all, a Hindu or a Buddhist cannot be an heir of God in Christ so “through Christ” has to be removed to make it less Christian and more acceptable to world religions. Let us look at two more examples as there are many more.

1 Corinthians 11:24
2008 King James Bible - And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Pre-350 A.D. Gothic - gabrukano (root word is brukan)

(NIV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
(HCSB) gave thanks, broke it, and said, "This is My body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of Me."
(ESV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(1901 ASV) and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, This is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me.
(CEV) Then after he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is given for you. Eat this and remember me."
(RSV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(NRSV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(NAB - Roman Catholic) and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, "This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(NWT - Jehovah’s Witnesses) and, after giving thanks, he broke it and said: “This means my body which is in YOUR behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.”

Do you see the tampering here in that none of the modern versions mentioned the fact that Christ’s body was “broken” for us. Yet the King James Bible maintains the word “broken” for 1658 years because God has preserved His word in the King James Bible and not the modern versions.

John 9:35
2008 King James Bible - Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
Pre-350 A.D. Gothic - unau Gubs
Pre-700 A.D. Anglo-Saxon - Godes suna
1382 Wycliffe - “sone of God”
1526 Tyndale - “sonne of God”
1560-1599 Geneva - Sonne of God
1568 Bishops’ Bible - sonne of God
1611 KJV - Sonne of God

(NWT-Jehovah‘s Witnesses) Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and, on finding him, he said: “Are you putting faith in the Son of man?
(RSV) Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, "Do you believe in the Son of man?"
(NRSV) Jesus heard that they had driven him out, and when he found him, he said, ‘Do you believe in the Son of Man?’
(NAB-Roman Catholic) When Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, he found him and said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
(NIV) Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
(NASB) Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
(ESV) Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
(HCSB) When Jesus heard that they had thrown the man out, He found him and asked, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
(THE MESSAGE) Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and went and found him. He asked him, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"

Do you see how the preserved word of God from 350 A.D. through today has maintained the fact that Jesus is the Son of God yet the modern versions reduce Him in this verse to the son of man. So we can plainly see in these 5 examples that the preserved word of God is in the lineage of the King James Bible and not the modern versions. This is why the Muslims would be silenced on this issue if the King James was used instead of the counterfeit versions. You can’t fight a war with a wooden gun!

The Lord Does Not Change
(Mal 3:6 KJV) For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
(Heb 13:8 KJV) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

God the Father and God the Son do not change in character, philosophy, or in any manner. This stability is something the Christian can always count on. If God does not change in character, then why would His words change? It would show a great inconsistency in His character. Yet, the modern versions always seem to be switching His words around in an opposite meaning scenario.

Proverbs 25:23
(KJV) The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.

(HCSB) The north wind produces rain, and a backbiting tongue, angry looks.
(NIV) As a north wind brings rain, so a sly tongue brings angry looks.
(NASV) The north wind brings forth rain, And a backbiting tongue, an angry countenance.
(ESV) The north wind brings forth rain, and a backbiting tongue, angry looks.

Jeremiah 51:3
(Jer 51:3 KJV) Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

(ESV) Let not the archer bend his bow, and let him not stand up in his armor. Spare not her young men; devote to destruction all her army.
(NIV) Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army.
(NASV) "Let not him who bends his bow bend it, Nor let him rise up in his scale-armor; So do not spare her young men; Devote all her army to destruction.
(HCSB) Don't let the archer string his bow; don't let him put on his armor. Don't spare her young men; completely destroy her entire army!

Galatians 2:20
(KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

(NIV) I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
(NASV) "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
(ESV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
(HCSB) and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

According to the modern versions, in Galatians 2:20 I no longer live. In Jeremiah 51:3, the archer is not to bend his bow. In Proverbs 25:23, the north wind brings the rain instead of driving it away. One of the characteristics of the modern versions is their ability to reverse the meanings of passages such as we just saw in these three examples. There are more of these reversed passages. God’s word, like His character does not change but the modern version editors have chosen to change the word of God. This is why God cannot bless any so-called bible which has been tampered with because if it is not His Word, then He would be blessing sin and that He will not do.

The Living Word is tied to the Written Word
The Bible is tied to Christ as both are called the Logos. If you chip away at the written word, you cast doubt on the living word. (John 1:14 KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Those who feel they can change the Word of God on a whim, are, in essence, stating they can change Christ and recreate Him in their image.

Summary
We have come a long way and I have given fourteen basic reasons why I am a King James Only person. The King James has a pure, uncorrupted lineage going back to the original Manuscripts. What we have seen behind the modern versions are Nazis, unbelievers, sodomites, Roman Catholics, severely corrupted manuscripts, Gnostics, and occultists who have corrupted both the Old and New Testaments. This has resulted in truncated verses, reverse meaning passages, omitted verses, questioning the verity of verses, and footnotes which have resulted in a weak church and confused Christians who place education above the Scriptures. The question I have to the modern version only people, do they honestly think that a thrice holy God would give His Holy Word to such groups of people for correction? Since when does anything that God does require correction? The King James Bible has a strong lineage of pure manuscripts going back to the originals. God preserved His true Word in that line and by time 1604 came and the beginning of the translation of the King James Bible, the manuscripts were ready to be translated which resulted in a pure Bible. As we have seen in this monograph, the King James readings pre-dates the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts behind the modern versions, which means that the oldest and best manuscripts supports the King James Bible and not the modern versions. Truly the modern versions are a thing of wickedness.  What I have written are the reasons why I am a King James only person!

(Psa 101:3 KJV) I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
