The Legacy Standard Bible Exposed
by Dr. Ken Matto
Well another counterfeit harlot version has just entered the market.
This one is called the Legacy Standard Bible (LSB) and it is nothing more
than an update of the corrupt 1995 New American Standard Version.
It is produced by the Master’s Seminary in California which is headed up
by John MacArthur. It contains the
same corruptions and omissions as the rest of the counterfeit Bibles.
John MacArthur is no friend to the real Bible and has done what he could
to derail Christians by diverting them from the truth of the Bible issue.
If you financially support him, then you are also an enemy of the true
Bible, it is that simple. I am
going to show the absolute agreement the LSB with the Roman Catholic and
Jehovah’s Witnesses Bible. Then you
tell me how accurate the LSB is and then attempt to prove it!
Brackets around a verse means that they question whether the verse is
found in the originals or not, it
basically means the same thing as if they omit it.
KJV - King James Version
LSB – Legacy Standard Bible
NAB - New American Bible (Roman Catholic Church)
NWT - New World Translation (Jehovah's Witnesses)
The King James Version will be first and the omitted or changed part of the
verse will be underlined to indicate the corruption in the LSB. You will also
see the LSB's absolute agreement with the NAB and the NWT. Personally, I would
be very suspicious of a translation that has so much in common with the Roman
Catholic Church and the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Hebrew Text: The Legacy Standard Bible utilizes the latest
edition of Rudolf Kittel’s Biblia Hebraica together with the most recent light
from lexicography, cognate languages, and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Greek Text: The Legacy Standard Bible has the benefit of a number of critical Greek texts in determining the best variant reading to translate. The 27th edition of Eberhard Nestle’s Novum Testamentum Graece, supplemented by the 28th edition in the General Epistles, serve as the base text. On every variant reading the Society of Biblical Literature GNT as well as the Tyndale House GNT were also consulted. In the end, each decision was based upon the current available manuscript evidence.
