Affected Teaching
Jesus was in the area of Galilee at this point in His ministry. In fact, Capernaum was His base of operations and from there Jesus ministered to the other cities in Galilee. He was also a guest at the house of Peter while He was in this area. (Luke 4:38 KJV) And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
Judea was south of Galilee. Jesus had ministered in the Galilee area for over a year. Just another example of the confusion the modern versions bring to the table.
