Affected Teaching
Judas (not Iscariot) had three names just like the
father-in-law of Moses. Judas was the brother of James who wrote the epistle of
Jude. Judas was not the son of James. James and Judas were the sons of Alphaeus.
Judas was known also as Thaddeus and Lebbaeus. By the modern versions calling
him the son of James, they cause confusion and give another erroneous verse
which hinders true Bible Study. The modern versions cannot be relied upon for
accuracy. This is just one of many examples.
