Affected Teaching
Jesus was ministering in Galilee and verse 24 marks His departure from Galilee
into the area of Tyre and Sidon. It is here where He ministers to a Syro-Phoenician
woman whose daughter was possessed by a devil. There is no logical reason why
“and from thence” and “and Sidon” should have been omitted from the modern
versions.
