Consequences of Pre-millennialism

Sometimes we wonder why people can't see something so obvious as Matt. 24. They are holding to a doctrine they have to twist the whole Bible to make it fit.

Pre-Millennialism

a. Pre - before

b. Millennial from Millennium - a period of 1,000 years

c. ism = a distinctive doctrine or theory

Christ is coming to set up a 1,000 year reign on earth where He will visibly rule over all the nations with a rod of iron. There are many consequences to this teaching, although many followers do not realize it. (Like the Masonic Lodge, many in it don't realize what it is about).

What Premillenialism Teaches: (With variations)

1. This Kingdom, though prophesied by the prophets and announced by John and Jesus, was postponed because the nation of Israel rejected Jesus as their Messiah.

2. Because the Jews rejected Jesus, Jesus set up the church as an alternative to the Kingdom. He then went back to heaven instead of ruling on earth as He originally planned.

3. While Jesus is waiting in heaven, He is not King.

4. While Jesus remains in heaven, Pagan Rome must come back into existence to fulfill Dan 2:44.

5. Troubled times, famines, earthquakes, pestilences are signs of the approaching the end.

6. Ten European countries will unite (teaching in 1960's and 70's, now modified because of the 12 nation EC).

7. A great leader will arise, making wonderful promises of prosperity (The Antichrist).

8. For 3 1/2 years, he will rule over prosperous years. The last 3 1/2 years of his rule will be great distress

9. Some say before, some say after, others say in the middle of this seven year reign, Christ will return and "Rapture" all the Christians. (pre-trib - post-trib - mid-trib)

10. WWIII will begin over conflict in the Middle East. Russia, China and U.S will begin a nuclear exchange, threatening the world with total destruction.

11. In the middle of this great battle, Christ will come and put a stop to all the warfare in the battle of Armageddon.

12. Jesus will sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem, ruling over all the world for 1,000 years.

13. During this reign, the Levitical priesthood and sacrifices and Temple worship will be restored.

14. During the 1,000 years, there will be complete peace on earth. No one will dare to rebel against Jesus. At the end, Satan will influence a large number to openly fight against Jesus. After this last battle, the Great White Throne Judgment will begin.

15. The wicked will be cast into hell and the righteous will enter heaven.

More recent variations appearing because of the fall of Russia and New Age movement.

"Fundamentalists" insist on a literal interpretation of Revelation. No one interprets all of Revelation literally. What they mean is that we must interpret the 1,000 years in Rev. 20 as literal. Rev. 1:1 "signified". First verse says it is given in signs. It goes against the first verse to make it literal.

What Difference Does It Make? "Whatever we believe about the future is not going to change anything. We try to understand the best we can and not worry if we have different ideas. We will all find out eventually anyway."

Consequences of Premillennialism

1. It Denies That Christ is Reigning Now

They teach Christ returned to heaven after being rejected by the Jews. He is now sitting of right hand of God. However, since the kingdom was not established, He is not King at this time.

A. Christ Has His Kingdom Now:

Colossians 1:12-13 - giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

Revelation 1:9 I John, your brother and partaker with you in tribulation and kingdom and patience which are in Jesus, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:23-25 - But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

1 Cor. 15:24-26 Reign of Christ is present and continuous till the end. Death will not be destroyed till the last dead person is raised. Millennial theory has death during the millennium. (Isaiah 65:20)

Jesus is to stay in heaven until death is destroyed! (1 Cor. 15:26)

Acts 2:34 For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: `The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, 35 till I make Your enemies Your footstool."

Hebrews 1:13 - But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool"?

Acts 3:21 - whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

(Restoration of all things - restore mankind to like he was before sin entered. No death, fellowship with God.)

The O.T. Prophets Prophesied of Death Being Destroyed - 1 Cor. 15:54-55 - Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

Hosea 13:14 - I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes.

Premillennialism has the reign of Christ backwards. He goes to the Father to receive His Kingdom (Dan. 7:13-14) and gives it up when He returns to earth (1 Cor. 15:23-25)!

2. It Denies The Christian Age is the Last Times

Acts 2:16-17 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets. 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

Hebrews 9:26 - He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

1 Peter 1:19-20 - ...Christ... was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

1 John 2:18 - Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Warnings given for the last time.

Many say they are just now being fulfilled! These warnings have been true for all of the last days.

1 Peter 3:3-4 - knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."

1 Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

3. It Denies The Judgment of All At The Second Coming

"Last days" refers to the end of the Jewish age and the coming of the Christians age. After Christianity, there is nothing else. There is a last day both righteous and wicked will be judged. Premillennialism has these events separated by 1,000 years.

A. It Calls Jesus a Liar

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:44, 54)

John 12:48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him - the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

John 5:28-29 - Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth - those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. Matthew 25:31-32, 34, 41

B. It Calls Paul a Liar

He taught a general resurrection and judgment at the end of the world - 1 Thess. 4:13 - 5:5 (Rapture passage - Time of Peace, Not Tribulation) 2 Thess. 1:4-10 Righteous recompensed, Wicked punished at the same time Written to the same people concerning the same subject, the Second Coming. Paul didn't even hint of a 1,000 year reign. This would have been the perfect time if it was true.

4. It Makes God False To His Promises

1. The Kingdom was preached by John, Jesus. the 12, and the 70 Matthew 3:1-2 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

Luke 10:9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'

Premillennialism teaches that this kingdom was postponed. Jesus and John promised it was at hand but the people rejected it. 2. The people believed the preaching and obeyed what was taught. Many were baptized, believing the promise. They acted in good faith, but God canceled his promise because others rejected it.

Illustration:

A man wants work to be done. Offers dozen men wages to do work. Half accept, meet all conditions and do the work, but because half did not come, he canceled his contract and did not pay any of them what he had promised.

Jesus announced the Kingdom and offered it on certain conditions. Multitudes accepted the offer in good faith and obeyed the conditions. Millennialists say that because not all of the Jews accepted it, God canceled the deal and did not fulfill his promise to bring about the Kingdom. If God did not know the Kingdom would be postponed, it denies the omniscience of God. If He did know it, yet had it announced anyway, it destroy the integrity of God.

Matthew 16:28 Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. Mark 9:1 And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.

When did the power come? it was promised in Luke 24:49 and fulfilled in Acts 1:8

5. It Teaches a Return To The Old Law

The Temple in Ezek. 40-47 and Zech. 14 are used to justify this. Many teach that the Levitical priesthood and animal sacrifices are going to be restored using these passages as their proof text. It cancels the meaning of Hebrews, Galatians, Romans. Galatians 2:21, 3:1-5, 10-14, 19f, 4:4-5, 9-10, 5:3-4 Hebrews 7:11-19, 8:1-10, 10:1-4, 10:18 Colossians 2:16-17 Therefore let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

6. It teaches the Jews are still the special chosen people of God

Matthew 21:43 (see context 21:33-43) Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

A. Christians Are Now God's Chosen People

Ephesians 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

B. Christians Are Now The Elect Of God

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

1 Thessalonians 1:4 knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. 1 Peter 1:1-2 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To the pilgrims of the Dispersion... elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ

7. It Minimizes The Church and the Gospel PreMill teaches that Christ came to establish the Kingdom, but since He was rejected, He set up the church as an alternative. The church was not part of the original plan, but when the Jews rejected the kingdom that was prophesied, the church was established instead. The Church is only a temporary substitute

Eph 3:8-11 The Church makes known the wisdom of God . Can see redemption planned from the beginning, prophesied of, set up. Premillennialism destroys all of this.

Rom 16:25-26 Ephesians Paul wrote that the mystery is the church. The plan which God had to save man and which makes known His wisdom. In Romans the gospel is the revelation of the mystery. What did the gospel reveal? The salvation of men in the church.

8. It Destroys the Great Commission

Matt. 28:18, John 7:2 Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. John 17:1-2 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.

He does not have all authority according to Premillenialism! He was rejected, waiting to come into authority sometime in the future. Ephesians 1:19-21 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. Philippians 2:5-11 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 1 Peter 3:21-22 There is also an antitype which now saves us -- baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

9. It Nullifies Salvation to Gentiles

Acts 15:13-17 The constant application of the prophets by the apostles demonstrates the O.T. prophets were speaking of the Christian age, not some millennial time period. Acts 3:24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.

Occasion of the controversy: Some trying to bind Jewish law on Gentile converts. Brought up subject still a controversy today because of Premillenialism - the Tabernacle of David. Peter spoke concerning Cornelius, James quoted Amos 9:11 and claimed it had been fulfilled. Tabernacle of David refers to David's royal line or house. This royal lineage was not to be restored in the flesh, but in Christ, the son of David.

Tabernacle of David, Mercies of David, Throne of David, Key of David all mentioned as being received by Christ in N.T. Luke 1:32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. Acts 2:29-31 Men and brethren, let [me] speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. Acts 13:33-34 God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.' 34 And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: 'I will give you the sure mercies of David.' (Isaiah 55:3) Acts 15:14-17 Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. 15 And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: 16 After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up; 17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, Says the Lord who does all these things.' Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ' These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens": (Isaiah )

God set this up that the residue or Gentiles might seek the Lord. Premill teaches it is to be raised in the future! James says it already has been set up so that the Gentiles could seek the Lord. If this prophecy of Amos has not been fulfilled, the Gentiles have no right to seek after the Lord today!

10. It Demotes Jesus From His Throne In Heaven And Puts Him On Earth,

His Footstool

A. Christ sat down on the right hand of God

Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

B. Christ Is On His Throne And Has The Scepter Of His Kingdom

Hebrews 1:8 But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.

C. Christ Now Rules Over the Nations

Revelation 2:26-27 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations -- 27 He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels' -- as I also have received from My Father.

D. Christ is Now Our Priest In Heaven

Hebrews 8:1 Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, Zechariah 6:12-13 Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: "Behold, the Man whose name is the Branch! From His place He shall branch out, And He shall build the temple of the Lord; 13 Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between them both. Hebrews 8:4 For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law. Hebrews 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

E. The Earth is the Lord's Footstool

Isaiah 66:1 Thus says the Lord: "Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest? Stephen used this passage in Acts 7:49 to show the spiritual nature of the house and throne of Christ. He knew where Christ was (7:56). Premills are making the same mistake as Jews in looking for literal physical fulfillment on earth. Premill is a Christ-demoting, Christ-dishonoring doctrine that carnalizes the Christian's hope and destroys every spiritual aspect of Christ's kingdom. It appeals to the carnal desires of men instead of the spiritual.

Christ is Now Over All Ephesians 1:18-23 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

11. It Makes The First Coming of Christ a Failure

It teaches that Christ came to establish His kingdom, was rejected, and went back to heaven having failed in His mission.

Christ came at the fullness of times. Premill either denies this or else charges that Christ was unable to set up the kingdom at the proper time. He fulfilled His purpose. He came that "He might redeem" Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Luke 24:46-47 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Ephesians 1:7-10 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth -- in Him. Ephesians 3:9-11 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; 10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

12. It Ignores The Hope Of The Christian

John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Philippians 3:20 - 4:1 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. 1 Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

Colossians 3:1-4 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. :2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Even Abraham and Sarah understood this! Hebrews 11:15-16 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Why Bring Christ Back to Earth?

1. His Mission of Redemption is complete

Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

2. His Revelation is complete

Jude 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (Eph. 3:1-10) 3.

3.His Authority is complete

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. John 17:1-2 ...Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. Ephesians 1:20-21 ...He [God].... seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

4. His kingdom now stands

Colossians 1:12-13 giving thanks to the Father who has... delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

5. He is now sitting on His Throne

Revelation 3:21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

6. His Name is complete Philippians 2:9-11

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

7.His Glory is complete

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. 1 Peter 1:20-21 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

8. His Work on earth is complete

John 4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. John 5:36 But I have a greater witness than John's; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish -- the very works that I do -- bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. John 17:4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. John 19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

9. We are now complete in Christ

Colossians 2:9-10 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Christ Will No Longer Be In The World John 17:11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.

Did Christ mean what He said, that He was "no more in the world"? There is nothing left for Him to do on earth. Why bring Him back? Matthew 19:6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.

Why is Christ Coming Back? The Second Coming - 2 Peter 3:1-11 1. No more chances. 3: 9 - Reason he now delays is to give more chances to be saved. 2. The world will be destroyed - 3:10 3. Resurrection of ALL the dead and Final Judgment - John 5:28-29, Mat 25:31 4. 4. This will be the time for the Kingdom to be delivered back to God - 1 Cor. 15:24

Premillennialism is materialistic, going back to the weak and beggarly elements of the Law. Contradicts the scripture, Dethrones Christ, Demotes Him from Heaven to earth. Sets affections on earth rather than on heaven. Denies salvation to Gentiles today. Come to the Word and see that Christ is NOW KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS Need to serve with acceptable service.

How Did Premillenialism Become Accepted to Begin With? Rev. 20 - symbolic passages was taken literally. Rest of the Bible twisted to fit the theory that resulted.
