Affected Teaching
If you notice the King James is very specific in
stating that the angel which is flying in the midst of heaven is bringing “the”
everlasting Gospel. The word “the” denotes the fact that there is only one
specific Gospel and that is the gospel of salvation in Christ. The modern
versions use the word “an” and even omit any word pointing to the Gospel. They
make it look like there is more than one gospel. Once again the King James Bible
clarifies the verse by using a definite article instead of a nebulous word like
“an.” The worse part of this is that the definite article is in the Critical
Text and is changed in the English instead of being translated properly.
