Hebrew Word
in Question
Țûwb (pronounced “toob”) is a masculine noun in the
first “his.” The second “his” is
yŏphȋy (pronounced “yof-ee”) which is also a masculine noun.
It is the genitive of “he.” Genitive is the case of possession.
Therefore words such as “its” is a false translation which is neuter.
Then some of the counterfeit versions turn it into a third person by
using the word “they” which violates the meaning and grammatical use of the
word. What these counterfeit
versions are doing is robbing God of his glory by diverting from him to people.
They are even removing all references to God such as the Voice which
translates this portion as “For goodness and beauty will abound!” and the
Christian Standard Bible “How lovely and beautiful!”
Therefore the King James Bible has this totally correct because it
focuses on God and his goodness and beauty which confirms other scripture verses
in Psalm 27 and other places in the Bible.
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I
seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. (Psalm
27:4)
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)
